Tips for the 70+ Entrepreneur and Artist
You might probably wonder how 70+ year old artist and business owner is able to keep up the pace of running a business and creating designs on a daily basis.
20 years ago when I first started making jewelry, I was spending at least 10 hours a day, designing my hand knotted jewelry, but today, I am more conscious about sitting for long periods of time because I know it is not good for my health or circulation. Nowadays, I make sure to get up and move around at least every 30 minutes while creating my work
I have been a lifetime, long distance walker and continue to walk to this day, because I know that I am not getting any younger!
Luckily, I have a pool in our yard and I try to spend 30 minutes a day looking like I know how to swim!
I was a childhood tap dancer and have recently reconnected with the sport of tap dancing. I love tapping my heart away for 30 minutes a day while I watch the cooking shows on TV. I think dancing is especially good for quick cardio workout. Recently, I bought a new pair of Block tap dancing shoes and joined a class. I am hopefully trying to keep up the good work so that I can still create when I am pushing 80.
